This Week's Construction Activity
CONSTRUCTION:
Finish items are reviewed each day to repair landscaping, check traffic systems, install signs and restore any areas affected by the construction. If you have a concern, please contact the Public Involvement Team associated with the project at 800.253.8946 or 801.663.1711 to have your issues reviewed. Crews will systematically investigate these items before the end of construction.
With the continued acceleration of the project, crews will be working from 6 am to 11 pm as allowed in the contract.
Curbside parking is allowed where new striping indicates room for such parking. Motorists parked where on-street parking is not allowed will be ticketed. A safe workplace is our number one goal, and your help is appreciated!
All motorists should obey posted warnings and speed limits through the construction zone. Fines are double and law enforcement are increasing their patrols. Watch for construction personnel and equipment in the area. Idle equipment is not a toy and should only be accessed by Goran personnel.
PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT:
All questions regarding the construction schedule and business access should be directed to Lisa Beck or Dave Asay from FrontLine Public Involvement.
They will coordinate with citizens and businesses in providing accurate construction impact information.
Frontline Project Managers are Lisa Beck - 801.663.1711 and Dave Asay, 801.712.3030.
All media inquiries should be directed to UDOT Region 4 Communications Manager Kevin Kitchen at kevin@utah.gov or the department's media hotline at 801-746-9932.
