Current Projects

Featured are Three Major Projects.

FrontLine is currently working on many projects for various clients, such as the three listed below.

To enhance safety for drivers, UDOT is upgrading the lane striping (shoulder lines, Express Lane (HOV) markings, and skip lines) on Utah’s urban freeways and major highway corridors.

In Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, Tooele, and Summit counties, lane markings are upgraded along sections of I-15, I-215, I-80, and SR-201.

Southern Utah Valley Power Systems (SUVPS) will be upgrading the existing transmission line in your area.
As part of this work:
• Existing ~60-foot wooden poles will be removed
• New ~90-foot steel poles will be installed in the same corridor
• This improves strength, safety, and long-term reliability

o accommodate significant growth in Heber City and enhance connectivity to surrounding areas and attractions, we are designing a project to expand U.S. Route 40 (US-40). This effort focuses on widening the roadway from the U.S. Route 189 (US-189) intersection to Center Creek Road (mileposts 17.95 to 19.30) to increase capacity, improve safety, and upgrade important infrastructure. A new traffic signal will be installed at 1500 South.

Key Project Features:

Roadway Expansion: US-40 will be widened to five lanes, including two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane. Twelve-foot shoulders will also be added to improve functionality.
Intersection Enhancements: Improvements will be made at key intersections, including the installation of a new traffic signal at 1500 South and another potential signal at Center Creek Road or Mill Road.
Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalks: New curb and gutter, park strips, and a 10′ multi-use path will be installed to align with and tie into Heber City’s existing infrastructure.
Drainage System: A drainage system, including a one-acre pond near 1500 South, will be constructed to manage stormwater effectively.
ROW Modifications: The project will involve removing and replacing right-of-way fencing, guardrails, and mailboxes as necessary.
Scope of Work: This project includes roadway excavation, improved pedestrian facilities, and expanded capacity to meet current and future transportation demands. The design will ensure integration with existing infrastructure while addressing critical transportation needs.

By enhancing US-40, this project will support Heber Valley’s growth, improve traffic flow, and create a safer, more efficient transportation corridor.
